Role: Programme Coordinator - Admissions (International Conversion)

Reporting Relationship: Report to the Admissions Manager. 

The appointee will be responsible for the following but are not limited to. 
Admissions
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and management of admissions facing processes, specifically linked to International Conversion.
  • Contribute to International Recruitment and Conversion for RCPI programmes. Converting Business Development leads into trainee appointments.
  • Support the conversion process for international applicants, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with visa regulations at high volume points in the year.
  • Ensure adherence to admission policies and standards with ongoing review linked to best practice standards.
  • Coordinate with training specialties to align recruitment processes with educational requirements for international programmes.
  • Support the national recruitment process at high volume points in the year.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and outcomes to both the Head of Operations and Head of Business Development.
  • Support the annual careers, induction, and onboarding events in line with admissions leadership team.
  • Provide operational team wide operational support 
Requirements
The successful applicant will have two years’ experience in a comparable education environment, with experience in admissions and onboarding:

  • Ability to be a team player, communicate professionally (both orally and in writing) and interact at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and provide a professional service.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good analytical skills and sound judgment.
  • Capacity to work on own initiative with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft excel.
  • Experience working on recruitment and selection within the medical education or university sector.
  • Sales and/or Marketing Qualification – desirable.
